 Our
position, along the Tiber river, only few km away from the A1 highway
or the Orte train station allows easy excursions in the neighbouring
regions, full of the most beautiful art cities and naturalistic
sites of Italy.
Travelling by car, coming from the A1 highway either from Rome or
Florence get off the highway at the Orte gate. Take the road to
the thermal baths of Orte (Terme di Orte), ad in front of the TOTAL
gas station turn right towards the "Military Zone ". Follow
the raod for about 2 km straight away. Take care to never turn right.

Excursions
and Itineraries
The strategic position of our estate allows easy connections with
all the most important art cities and touristic sites of the Italian
central regions. The nearest cities are Viterbo, Orvieto, Tuscania,
Rome reachable by train from Orte Scalo Railway Station, and Florence, Siena, Perugia; famous art cities of the Tuscia
region (Viterbo, Tuscania, Tarquinia, Bolsena, ecc...) of the Umbria
region (Todi, Montefalco, Assisi, Spello, Orvieto, Gubbio, Norcia,
Cascia, Spoleto, ecc...) as well as the nearby Tuscany region (Pitigliano,
Pienza, Sovana, ecc...); naturalistic sites as the Marmore's falls,
the lake of Bolsena, the lake of Corbara, Bracciano, Vico and Piediluco, the Thermal Baths of Orte, of Viterbo and of Saturnia in
Tuscany, the Cimini Mountains, the Tiber valley and the Maremma region.
In our region are present also numerous Etruscan archeological sites
such as Norchia, Tarquinia, Tuscania, Ferento, Vulci, Cerveteri,
only to name a few...
We suggest to our guests numerous itineraries
not only in tha famous Tuscia's art cities, but also in special
sites that will enchant our most carefull visitors such as vineyards,
olive groves, natural parks, ancient villages, beautifull churches,
oil presses, wine cellars, delicatessen factories...
Our guests will also enjoy the nearby Orte's thermal baths only
5 minuts away or the Popes' Thermal Baths of Viterbo only 20 minuts
away. For the fond of the seaside there's the nearby Etruscan Caost
and its seaside resorts. |
